This news page is for the benefit of the members.
With the website being new it may be a little short at present.
It is hoped that as the website develops that all the latest news and developments can be posted on here including catch reports on the waters, work party plans and anything else that may be of use or interest to members.
It will likely be moved to the member’s private area so that only members will have access to it, via a password. This would make it more secure when detailed catch reports etc are posted |
Due to time wasters who seem to take more enjoyment in joining as many waiting lists as possible instead of fishing the rules for inclusion onto the waiting list from Jan-1-2011 have altered.
From now the old waiting list has been scrapped and we have started two new lists. These list will be here on the web site so all can check their position. There will be one list for Flintsham and another list for Bigwood. These lists will be restricted at present to the first 20 successful applicants. There will be a charge of £50 to be put onto the list.
When a place is offered and excepted the £50 will be knocked off the joining fee if a place is offered and turned down the £50 will be forfeited.
Anyone interested in going onto the lists should re-apply using the membership application section on the Contact Us page.

BIGWOOD
6-11-2010
Today we stocked Bigwood with 35 C3 Viv Shears fish averaging 4lb in weight. These are a well respected fast growing strain that will supplement the existing stock and provide a good backbone for the future of the water. These fish should hopefully grow and make upper doubles to 20lb in 2 -3 years if they do as well as the Dintons stocked earlier.
For anyone interested the website of VS Fisheries is www.vsfisheries.co.uk
It is worth a look just to get an idea of the quality of the fish they supply.
Here are a few Pictures to show you how nice these fish are.
